Last night I set out to do some long exposures, whilst placing my camera on the tripod I had the weirdest spaz' known to man, I must have looked like I was being tazed by a policeman out of sight from anyone. My camera escaped my grasp whilst I was doing the highland fling and smashed onto the concrete. I paused. Looking at the camera as if somehow Gandalf might appear and conjour the camera back to my hand and all this never happened.  But Alas, he must have been busy. There was no going back. I slowly picked up the camera waiting for the inevitable cracked screen and broken lens, if I was lucky. However, she had only two marks on her : one on the flash, and one next to the dial. That was it. Lens, fine. Screen, fine.  Camera fine. 


Last night my camera bit concrete and spat it out. Man, I need to put the strap on.
